National Park Service Media
I have worked seasonally as an interpretive park ranger for the National Park Service for three years. During the 2022 season, I took on the role of Visual Information Specialist at Perry's Victory and International Peace Memorial on South Bass Island in Lake Erie.
I was in charge of preparing print and digital media to provide information to the visiting public. In addition to independently preparing printed signs, brochures, programs, and the park newspaper, I also co-authored the park's social media and website. This page shows examples of my work creating both digital and print media for the park.
My first project at the park was to design new feather banners to display. I earned an NPS Star Award for this project.
I designed and held a program for younger visitors to complete a scavenger hunt around the park to learn in a hands-on way.
